1996

TGA-3 Guitar Amplifier and the TGP-3 Guitar Amplifier are discontinued.

1997

HMP-1 H Series Microphone Preamp is introduced.

VTHF-300M Power Amplifier is first produced, a true hi-fi 300 watt mono block tube power amplifier for the studio or the road. Used by Rick Rubin to check mixes and Pat Dahlheimer of Live to blow away the audience with his bass. Still in production.

VTCL-2A Compressor/Limiter begins production.

TGA-2 Guitar Amplifier Inverter is introduced, as well as a 100 watt version.

HCL-1 H Series Compressor/Limiter is introduced.

VTDB-2 Tube Direct Box receives Acoustic Guitar Magazine's Players' Choice Award.

1999

HBP-1 H Series Bass Preamp is introduced.

2000

A new look for the VTBP-201 Bass Preamp, now in a single rack space it becomes known as the VTBP-201S Bass Preamp.

R&D begins for the RV-1 Real Reverb. Production begins at the end of the year.
